A list with nothing on it....

@dracula - most of these miss the entire point. The whole point of the story is that it isnt clear exactly whats going on so there's plenty to interpret. I dont know if hes even aware of this since he has entries like "is it all in his head". The simple fact they played with the idea of parts of the movie being imaginary really should've shown the flaws.

Not to mention the first entry thats so clearly just to fill out the list. The movie made it clear that most of the coworkers dont really care about arthur. Its clear he just wanted arthur to get fired by getting caught with a gun he wasn't supposed to have.

If Thomas Wayne really was Arthur's father and was trying to cover it up. Why bother with the fake adoption story? It'd be easier to forge a birth certificate and put some random Wayne employee as the father.

@DonDave - If Arthur thought he wasn't Penny's biological son anyway, he wouldn't seek a DNA test from Thomas Wayne.

"Joker is a movie we'll be talking about for years to come"

In this fast paced media world... Nah. We'll stop talking about Joker by Christmas.

Anyone else get a mandatory patdown walking in the theatre or is it just my town that's overly insane??

@Killman21 - We might be getting our wish:

Phoenix also says:

“You know, I wouldn’t have thought about this as my dream role. But now, honestly, I can’t stop thinking about it. I talked to Todd a lot about what else we might be able to do, in general, just to work together, but also specifically, if there’s something else we can do with Joker that might be interesting.”

I never considered the implications in that scene involving Arthur and Randall. Perhaps.

I got my own: why did he put himself inside that fridge and how did he even managed to get out from it? Refrigerators can only open from outside, not from inside. 🤯

I hated this movie. I hated the violence. I hated the cringe-worthy dancing. I hated that it wasted Beetz. I hated the fact that Phillips had very few answers about his own picture, do he crafted these cowardly methods of ambiguity to get around not knowing what to do because he was too afraid to piss off the core fans or alienate new ones. Phoenix was great. That was the only thing I enjoyed. His performance was good. The rest of the movie was a wasted endeavor. I'm glad so many other people liked it. I'm just not one of them.

@AvisQuinn - You forgot to mention they played a song by a convicted pedophile (Gary Glitter) while he was dancing in his Joker outfit on the stairs. Still catchy, and oddly fitting though.

Arthur will be too old when Bruce becomes Batman, but the clown's face will torment Bruce's mind throughout his life.
