THE BATMAN Set Video Spotlights A Confrontation Between Bruce Wayne & The Penguin THE BATMAN Set Video Spotlights A Confrontation Between Bruce Wayne & The Penguin

More intriguing updates from the set of The Batman here, as a fan has managed to record a brief altercation between Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) and The Penguin (Colin Farrell) on the courtroom steps.

We got a pretty good look at Robert Pattinson (Bruce Wayne) and Zoe Kravitz (Selina Kyle) on the set of Matt Reeves' The Batman earlier today, and now we have a new glimpse of Colin Farrell (yes, that's really him) as Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin.

The video was shot from quite a distance away, but if you focus your attention on the top right corner of the screen you'll notice Wayne attempting to walk through the crowd before being pushed back by Penguin.

This is obviously going to be a more physically capable/imposing take on the classic Batman villain, and speculation now points to the character being introduced as an enforcer for Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), who was also spotted on set this morning.

Security seems to be pretty lax on the set, so we can probably expect to see more photos and videos find their way online over the next few days.

We found out last week that Warner Bros. had decided not to take any chance's with The Batman's 2021 release, pushing the movie back to March 2022.

It would be cool, if some villain revealed Batman's identity to the world.

I guess Riddler will know who Batman is, but he won't do anything about it.

@DARKSIDEIS - I don't think they want to be taking any cues from Far from Home bud.

Wonder if Penguin will be the big bad of the sequel or will just play a supporting role throughout Matt Reeve's entire trilogy. Considering they were talking about using Harvey Dent early on, guessing he will be in one of the sequels, then become Two Face

@dracula - I’ve seen online people are saying Bruce and “Oz” go way back in this film and Oz resents Bruce and the Wayne family for some personal reason. So I think he could be used throughout the trilogy, developing his character and persona. Especially since Reeves says he isn’t Penguin just yet

@DannRamm113 - looks like the massive scar down his face he was seen sporting in the trailer.

He is going to be a "general" for Carmine Falcone and when Falcone dies (probably at the end of the movie) The Penguin will assassinate the other high officials of the Falcone Empire. Then, he will be the new boss.

Also look at Penguins hands, they're really tiny.

@JohnMarston220 - I guess that's balance because Zoe Kravitz has huge man hands.

Wonder if they really will use Robin in one of the sequels. When Reeve's time is over, just keep going with this continuity. Seriously Batman has dozens of A listers, who will never be adapted if they keep rebooting, plus they can use some of them in stuff like Nightwing and Batgirl

@dracula - I strongly believe Reeve's wants Robin in the next one if not in the contracted films.

@dracula - I think everyone's dying to see Robin back on the big screen.

Also, I faintly remember reading something about a scene, or maybe a casting call regarding circus acrobatics- or something along the lines. It was on this site

@JohnMarston220 - Seems unlikely they would have Robin in the first film, but yeah would be nice to at least get the set up for it, like a trip to haley circus, quick look at flying graysons
