In the pages of Nick Spencer's Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker is currently being targeted by the villainous Kindred. Recently, we learned that it's Harry Osborn beneath the mask (yes, it's a mask), and it now remains to be seen what he has in store for the web-slinger.

Since Spencer's run on the title began, we've learned that Kindred can resurrect the dead, invade Spidey's nightmares, and even control monstrous insects. Whatever his plan might be, it's beginning to look like it will all tie into "One More Day" and Harry's mysterious return from the dead.

Now, former Amazing Spider-Man artist Ryan Ottley (who left the series to work on other projects) has shared some of his early designs for Kindred, saying, "My initial designs for Kindred, the big bad villain in current [Amazing Spider-Man]. Don’t think I’ve showed these before!"

Getting this early glimpse into Kindred's creation is really interesting, and it seems the plan was always to channel Batman villain Hush (things are definitely getting as personal for Peter as they did for the Caped Crusader all those years ago). Next week's issue of Amazing Spider-Man is expected to reveal even more about the villain as the "Last Remains" storyline contines to play out.

Check out Ottley's designs in the Tweet below:

The Last Remains arc is again a really good Spidey story after a long time.

@DARKSIDEIS - Yeah it's good,I enjoyed the sin eater story as well.
Its not a classic though, like early Spidey stories between 60s-90s.

Kindred is quite a cool looking villain.

One of the best of recent times.

The left design is very similar to DC's Hush

It's like they wanted to make Hush but if he was straightout from some Freddy Krueger movie. Not a bad design.

This arc is great. Much better than the Slott run, and hopefully it ends the whole OMD ordeal. Also, hope you don´t mind me posting this, but I think some of you guys might appreciate it. It´s my very subjective review of the 2002 movie. I promise my accent will get way better!
