Marvel will not continue the DD tv show. They want to keep DD and the defenders for their MCU . They'll reboot the characters in movie form because there is so much potential to do stand alone movies, team movies and have these characters cameo in other MCU characters movie . Feige is not stupit ....he knows how to make this work 🤑🤑🤑

@emeraldtaurus - I think the majority of us know they wont continue the DD show. We just want Charlie Cox back playing the character.

Maybe in 6 months we'll be back to normal and we can get more Daredevil be it a movie or show.

Its gonna tone down the violence though.

“There’s now less than six months until Marvel regains the rights to the man without fear.”
“From who?”
“Marvel.”

I know what you're doing, Kev.

You'll rustle many jimmies, but it's probably the safest thing to do....for you and your precious MCU.

Daredevil should have never be relegated to Netflix in the first place.

Business-wise, having Charlie Cox in the MCU can be an issue. It will definitely advertise the Netflix show, that is no good news for them because they are investing so much in Disney+.
Canon-wise, having TV Daredevil will make everything else with him cannon (including iron fist) which am sure feige wants to reboot.

@JustALurker - if they figure out a way to have the daredevil show on D+ or hulu, there might be a chance and that is a very big if.

@JustALurker - The first concern is by far the biggest, I think. You can soft-reboot Daredevil with most of the same cast and just fudge the canon however you want to fudge it (and the Netflix version becomes a similar-but-alternate-reality-in-the-multiverse).

But steering people toward Netflix to watch "Daredevil Part One" would be a huge no-no for Disney, I'm sure. Maybe if Feige doesn't have any real plans for Daredevil, Cox could show up as a semi-regular in She-Hulk or something, but a full-on revival would probably necessitate Disney somehow obtaining the streaming rights to all of the Netflix shows.

I loved most of the netflix shows. The thing I dislike most is Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal are done as daredevil and punisher. I would love it if they could somehow keep those actors.

Feige wanted to trade DD at one point. Wonder if his feelings on the importance of the character have changed after seeing what wonders the Netflix show did.

At the VERY LEAST, he should see the potential for the character to grow to some extent media wise. There's a large interest in him. I wouldn't mind an animated DD show.

Maybe even a Defenders show taking place in a new Marvel animated universe; given the same creativity and energy as Clone Wars or EMH.
