While Grant Gustin's journey as the Scarlet Speedster on the small screen may have ended shortly after Robert Pattinson's had only just begun as the Caped Crusader on the big screen, ever having the opportunity of seeing both their character's interact together on screen would have been somewhat interesting.

Grant Gustin's Flash is met more favorably than any other live-action adaptation of the character that has been seen before; particularly more liked than Ezra Miller's Flash, and more modernized than John Wesley Shipp's version of the character.

Robert Pattinson may not be everyone's go-to Batman, but as far as portraying the Dark Knight in The Batman, his adaptation of the character has definitely been met with positive response from the community.

But what would happen if both these two character's were to ever encounter with each other?

Running all the way to Gotham City in another alternate dimension, The Flash does not hesitate to seek the help of their very own Batman in his efforts to make it back to his universe's Central City.

Seeing this brief fan-made clip of the two meeting up has sparked serious urge among fans to bring the two character's in the same setting:

"I enjoyed the film, but if it had been, it would be much better."@oraphaelramos

Would you ever want to see Grant Gustin's Flash and Robert Pattinson's Batman join forces?

Dealing with the loss of a parent, Barry found friendship in Batman as the two helped each other overcome their devastating losses. Even before the New 52, Barry and Batman were close allies.

This studio's attempt at a shared universe is so rudderless it is embarassing! They should sell the DC universe and concentrate their efforts on the "soon to be thought of by a studio exec" Barbie universe.

@Forthas - barbie was a meme. Literally. They get all 26 pointless characters in a room to explain the point of their movie an hour and fifteen mins in.

I don't want Pattinson's Batman sharing the screen with any other supe. He's way more interesting in his own universe.

I know his movie is good, but this is not the kind of Batman you want living in a world with Superman.

@SheepishOne - it's one I prefer to see operate on his own for a while, but I wouldn't mind eventually seeing play off of others. Especially with his arc of building from vengeance to realizing he needs to be more.
It would just have to happen gradually and organically for me to get behind it.

But with Brave and the Bold coming out and them focusing on an established Batman in that with an already shared universe with a Superman and firmly setting this Batman as an elseworld, I don't imagine this one will cross paths with other heroes and that would be fine, maybe preferable in some ways.

I'm reminded of how much I want Pattinson to play a different Batman in the next movie.😂🤣 Hoping Matt Reeves can let Rob show a little more charisma in and out of the Batsuit.

I was thinking recently, if we imagine that there was a DC Studios boss from 2005-2011, they would have been a pretty good boss.

Odd thought, but seriously look:

2005 -Batman Begins.
An origin movie for Batman. A great start to a cinematic universe.

2005 - Constantine.
Not very comics faithful, but a good movie with a superstar lead.

2005 - V for Vendetta.
The first Elseworlds set in a dystopian future. Doesn't needlessly replicate DC characters from the main DC Universe.

2006 - Superman Returns.
A reintroduction of the Superman character that acts as a sequel to the two good Superman movies (Superman: The Movie and Superman II), but sliding the timescale to the modern day.

2008 - The Dark Knight.
One of the best superhero movies of all time.

2009 - Watchmen.
The second Elseworld film based on another Alan Moore classic GN.

2010 - Jonah Hex.
Well... it's set in the past so at least it doesn't have any baring on the main timeline.

2011 - Green Lantern.
Yes, things are starting to go downhill a little. This is a feature film that plays like a really good CW pilot.
But it introduces the third member of the Justice League after Batman and Superman and overall the films have been of such a good quality that they can support a film as mediocre as Green Lantern.

Now if we borrowed a couple of films from the future, 2017's Wonder Woman and 2018's Aquaman (the only two films that actually progress the strategy of the cinematic universe in a asensible fashion since this time) and release them over the next two years:

2012 - Wonder Woman (2017).

2013 - Aquaman (2018).

Then all we'll need is a Flash origin movie and we can finally do a proper Justice League movie (that would introduce Martian Manhunter as the seventh character and feature a plot involving the White Martians) and DC will have become an MCU-class cinematic universe only two years after Avengers.

2014 - Flash origin movie.

2015 - Justice League.

So now I wanna see a fan video that brings together Christian Bale's Batman, Brandon Routh's Superman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Ryan Reynold's Green Lantern, anyone but Ezra Miller as The Flash (it could have been Grant Gustin since it would have come out in 2013) and anyone at all as Martian Manhunter.

I hope Matt Reeves keeps superpowers out of this universe.
Let Brave and Bold handle all the metahumans and whackiness.
I also hope they take Muschietti off Batman or he steps down. The Flash was awful and goofy.

Matt Reeves is a great director, but he missed an opportunity to share a scene with Zoey Kravits. Other directors were smarter.

I don’t get how people actually like grant gustin as the flash. He’s not a good actor and he looks goofy as [frick] in that costume. I get why people hate Ezra miller, but common gustin is not a good substitute

DC fans got a huge hard on for Grant but dude literally has zero personality playing the flash. He’s about the most vanilla actor you could choose for the role.

I would disagree with the opinion that Grant Gustins version has been the most well received. At least for me. John Wesley Shipps time was older and special effects not as modern but in terms of casting I prefer him much better as the heroic, more confident, with a more athletic build than Gustin. Even the speed after image effect seems more realistic and impressive than the lighting which seems easier and lazier and less dramatic. The way Shipps discovery of new abilities was more dramatic and impressive such as when he vibrated through a wall for the first time. Some of the stories were silly but so is the modern show.
