We've been hearing conflicting reports about whether any new footage from Deadpool and Wolverine is set to screen at Disney's CinemaCon presentation tomorrow, but the amount of promo art on display on the event floor would seem to suggest that something will be showcased during the panel.

This new poster (via THR) was spotted on a photo booth, and it gives us our best look yet at Logan (Hugh Jackman) in his classic yellow and blue costume - mask included - alongside the Merc With a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) with his signature katanas at the ready.

As cool as this is, we have yet to see that iconic cowl in live-action. Hopefully, it'll be one of the big moments from the upcoming full trailer, which is expected to debut online early next month.

Check out the artwork at the link below, along with a better look at some Deadpool Variants and a first glimpse of some tie-in merchandise. The first wave of Funko POPs is expected to be unveiled this Friday, which should spotlight at least some of the other characters we can expect to see in the movie aside from the main duo.

Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Rob Delaney (Peter), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) And Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio) will all return as their respective characters, and they'll be joined by franchise newcomers Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession), who will play a TV agent and Cassandra Nova (not confirmed).

A recent synopsis for the movie reads: "After facing some professional setbacks while going through a midlife crisis, Wade Wilson decides to officially retire Deadpool and becomes a used car salesman. But when his friends, family, and the whole world are at stake, Deadpool decides to bring his katanas out of retirement. He recruits an unwilling and wary Wolverine to not only fight for their survival, but ultimately, their legacy."

Shawn Levy directs Deadpool and Wolverine from a script by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells.

The movie is set to open in U.S. & Canadian theaters on July 26, and will be available in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD and premium screens everywhere.

@bobevanz - I'm with you. I'll also be okay if they just get all the damn nostalgia cameos out of their system, and get back to the business of building a good universe after this.... With new people cast in the majority of the roles

@bobevanz - in fairness, I trust levy and Reynolds. Bare minimum it'll be the same kind of movie as the first 2, but with a bit of charm from free guy.

@bobevanz - Here's hoping that Logan goes on a mission in pursuit of "Þhe Man in Red".
He runs into Deadpool, and the battle ensues. After their bloody to buddy transition, they both go after the real target:

I still think it’d look better without the sleeves but it’s still looks amazing

@Ha1frican - same.

But I think that was a creative choice due to Hugh's age. Them biceps ain't biceping like they used to

@Ha1frican - aren’t the sleeves there for Jackman’s safety since he has had skin cancer before?.

@AquaClunge - Idk about that. Since the movie was announced, Hugh's been posting videos of himself pumping iron and he looks great. It would be a waste to not show off his hard work.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - he does still look good, I'm just tryna figure why they didnt remove the sleeves on a near comic accurate suit 😅 that's like the only reason I could thing of lol

@AquaClunge - Hugh's skin is extremely sensitive to the sun. It's a genuine medical thing. So because they were shooting outdoors he needed to have his arms covered up. But they might rip off the sleeves for something shot indoors.

In hindsight, Fox was sitting on a goldmine property with the xmen. Can't believe they failed twice. Excited to see how this movie rips them a new one.

mountainman - 4/10/2024, 7:23 PM
@JFerguson - Those movies, besides Dark Phoenix and New Mutants, all made decent money despite how far they were off from the source. Had Fox produced them better they would have cleaned up at the box office.

@JFerguson - YES THEY [frick]ING WERE....Just finished watching X-Men: The Animated series....I did not know the X-men had sooooo much material. Hell....They have a ton of factions too! If Fox played their cards right....Marvel would have never gotten X-men rights back
Vigor
Vigor - 4/10/2024, 7:48 PM
@BlackStar25 - yes as someone who grew up woth xmen comics and cartoon, I never could get on board the fox versions. I was sk excited when the rights came back to disney/mcu
BlackStar25
BlackStar25 - 4/10/2024, 7:57 PM
@Vigor - I too was excited but....knowing what I know now...X-men is probably served better outside the MCU. Its a whole world of its own basically. Its sooooo many stories and factions I wanna see now that I know I wont be able to see on screen because Marvel wont be focusing on just the X-men world and what they put on will be limited with regard to releases.
Vigor
Vigor - 4/10/2024, 7:58 PM
@BlackStar25 - they may do with them, what they're doing with f4. Have them begin in a separate universe before crashing them into earth 616
JDL
JDL - 4/11/2024, 4:45 AM
@JFerguson - Too many characters to service in something as short as a movie imo. It needed something longer and even then there would have been characters side-lined that people would bitch about.

The Wolvie costume (especially cowl) continues to look good in the artwork so hopefully that translates to live action aswell.

Looking forward to the 48 Hrs-esque dynamic between him & Wade, I hear that’s been listed as an influence on the film…

Babypool has officially replaced Baby Groot. Kid pool will be a popular costume this Halloween for kids. And I pray that Head pool isn't another Korg. I despise Korg as a character in the MCU.
mountainman
mountainman - 4/10/2024, 8:31 PM
@SonOfAGif - Deadpool really walked that line between funny and annoying in his first two movies. Really hoping he, and especially his quirky variants, don’t cross that line in this one.
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 4/10/2024, 8:41 PM
@mountainman - Deadpool works as that comedic relief and I'm sure his variants as well. But my issue with Korg is more so how Taika made his lame jokes and one liners the focal point of each scene. He worked in Ragnarok for awhile but got annoying. I'm hoping they don't go that direction with Headpool
mountainman
mountainman - 4/10/2024, 8:56 PM
@SonOfAGif - 100% agree with Korg being bearable in Ragnarok but unbearable afterwards. There is a limit of how far the comic relief characters should take it.

With all the Deadpool characters, as long as they are just one off random versions of Deadpool it’s fine. Just don’t feature them too much.

Love the theory that ‘Headpool’ is the severed head of Wade from X-Men Origins, but doubt that’ll be the case
