Following its debut during tonight’s 2021 Grammy Awards, The Walt Disney Company has released an all-new sneak peek and three hi-res still images from Cruella, which stars Emma Stone as the puppy-bothering villain of the title.

In this new look at the movie, we see Stone's "Queen of Mean" converse with Emma Thompson’s Baroness von Hellman, who insists that young Estrella needs to have a killer instinct to get by in the industry.

Towards the end of the teaser, we see that killer instinct - and a style to match - in full effect.

Academy Award® winner Emma Stone (“La La Land”) stars in Disney’s “Cruella,” an all-new live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious – and notoriously fashionable – villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil. “Cruella,” which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets.

One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute, played by two-time Oscar® winner Emma Thompson (“Howards End,” “Sense & Sensibility”). But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.

Disney’s Cruella is directed by Craig Gillespie (I Tonya) and produced by Andrew Gunn (Freaky Friday), Marc Platt (Mary Poppins Returns) and Kristin Burr (Christopher Robin), with Stone and Michelle Wright (Baby Driver) serving as executive producers.

Has a nice production design, not sure how they will make a puppy killer appealing to general audiences (Lets face it people are more upset when animals are hurt than people)

I'm starting to warm up to this (especially once I found out it's written by the guy that wrote The Favourite).

@noahthegrand -

It's been a long, what, 3 years since we talked last? I had a tough 2018 and 2020. Started college, though! Excited. Gonna make a movie of my own soon!

How about you?

@SensitivityII - that’s great! I’m approaching my final year of college now. Hope your movie works out. Any details?

@noahthegrand - Right now, I'm still coming up with ideas. I've done a couple collabs with other people recently, but now I'm mostly focusing on finals and buying my own equipment. I've spent thousands already, but I need to buy a few more things before I'm all set.

Finals are this week, so hopefully right after that I can jump into writing and storyboarding.

I don't know if its because the marketing / trailers are doing it on purpose, but I'm getting real Joker vibes from this movie. Its like she's slowly being wound up to the point where she snaps and becomes a full blown villain. It seems very dark for a Disney movie.

@bcom - ohh it's definitely Joker-ish and it's definitely intentional.
