Werewolf by Night took us to a particularly creepy corner of the MCU where monster hunters were assembled to track down a terrifying creature. That beast, however, ended up being Ted, a.k.a. Man-Thing.

The truth was that he wasn't bad at all, with the Bloodstone forcing the gentle monster into a near uncontrollable rage. Jack Russell was able to help his friend and eventually freed him from captivity. Fans have fallen in love with the heroic comic book character, with the hope being that he'll return sooner rather than later.

In the closing moments of Werewolf by Night, we saw that Man-Thing had helped his friend, sheltering Jack after his transformation. They agreed to go for sushi in a scene it's since been revealed was meant to be a post-credits stinger!

"[That final campfire scene is] in the [same] Spirit [as a normal post-credits scene]," executive producer Brian Gay tells The Direct. "We wanted to put, you know, a nice, I guess, button on the end of the special in a way to have it. But with this, we want it to be a contained story. And so anytime that there's, you know, a tag, it's always what's next, what's going on for these characters."

"[The Werewolf and Man-Thing] don't know what's happening next," he continued. "They barely made it through this night alive."

Fans have made it clear they would like Jack and Ted's stories to carry on beyond this introduction, but only time will tell what the future holds in store for them both in the MCU.

"A Halloween horror delight, Werewolf by Night is a mighty impressive, macabre Marvel monster tale that introduces some killer new characters and proves Marvel Studios can still find plenty of ways to surprise us," we said in our review of the Marvel Studios Special Presentation. "More Man-Thing is a must!"

Take a closer look at Werewolf by Night's Ted in all his glory below!

Really liked how they portrayed Man-Thing. The buddy dynamic was fun.

@ModHaterSLADE - Me too! I was so glad they kept his look so true to the comics too. Really looking forward to seeing more of him. Werewolf by Night was better than I expected it to be. I liked the campy black and white classic look it had. Hoping Jack looks a little better if he shows up elsewhere though.

Warewolf by Night has been one of the few things Marvel has done in Phase Four that has Hype moving forward

Hopefully it leads to the Midnight Suns movie

Perhaps the best of the Disney/Marvel + productions.

Man Thing was spot on.

We want more of THIS....and less of garbage like She-Hulk

I don't have Disney plus and don't pay for any streaming services, but I'll eventually take a peek at this when it comes out "online". I've always enjoyed the weirder Marvel characters.

Werewolf by Night was my favorite Marvel offering this year so far. It was so great.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Same. I never would have expected that lol! However, I think Black Panther has a very good chance of topping it. Trailers look great.

I wonder where these characters will show up next.

What If? or Loki Season 2 for some odd reason?

I was almost hoping the Agatha show might continue in this horror side of the universe but now it sounds like itll be more about the Young Avengers.

Maybe next year's Halloween special? Blade? Moon Knight Season 2?

I really liked how his eyes' cores were a bunch of doodle-y dots spread out and almost unnoticeable when intimidating others, but they regrouped into almost cute puppy eyes when in the presence of friends who call him by his human name.

Loved the design and his buddy-esq dynamic. Don’t remember him being in the trailers but his inclusion was a nice surprise.

Honestly one of the best things Marvel’s done, in any phase. Definitely looking forward to more from these characters, preferably in another special. And I wasn’t sure about these specials at first, but it really worked for me, and I’m looking forward to more of those as well.
