Yay except not in a hurry to see William Hurt "hulk out"...

@clornelas - I don't think it will be Ross
Spock0Clock
Spock0Clock - 2/19/2020, 8:41 AM
@clornelas - Personally, I would love it. They've been floating Ross in these movies as an ineffectual bureaucrat with so many axes to grind. Seeing him suddenly be the most physically-imposing figure in the room: someone who could peel Rhodey out of his suit, wipe Professor Hulk's smug grin off his face, and just generally be a real physical and ideological threat to the heroes does it for me.

As to whether it would work for audiences, it's right on that line of silly dumb fun or silly dumb gimmick.

@BlackBeltJones - could be Everett Ross...

@BlackBeltJones - Could be Betty hulking out as Red She-Hulk...? I think I'd be okay with that.

Who's been rumored to make their "first appearance" more? Namor or Red Hulk?

Is he going to have to shave then regrow his mustache in-between transformations?

Shroombeast
Shroombeast - 2/19/2020, 8:13 AM
@soberchimera - Always thought the disappearing mustache was dumb as hell. If he has facial hair it should be there when he transforms.
soberchimera
soberchimera - 2/19/2020, 8:16 AM
@Shroombeast - Yeah, I think Loeb's understanding of facial hair physics comes from the SpongeBob movie.
Spock0Clock
Spock0Clock - 2/19/2020, 8:57 AM
@Shroombeast - "Technically" the hulks and the humans are different beings entirely (at least in some versions of the comics, from my limited understanding). So, it's not like it violates some ironclad canonical rule. (Something similar happened with Jane Foster's Thor since she gets long blonde hair instead of her shaved naturally-brown hair.)

...But there's just something about it being a mustache that feels dumber than hair changing. Especially when Red Hulk's identity was a mystery and people used his lack of mustache to rule out Ross.

@Spock0Clock - Yeah but Jane changing was a magic hammer I think we can throw out any rules or logic there. A hulk transformation is literally a body changing. And like you said, it being such a mystery made it feel even dumber.

Has MCU cosmic been right with any of their rumours? I guess if you keep saying shit one of the rumours will end up being true.

@marvel72

Eternals is like the one rumor they’ve gotten right. And he’s been riding the coattails of that one scoop ever since.

He was also positive A4 would be called Avengers: Annihilation and couldn’t take the heat when he was wrong.

GodHercules20 - 2/19/2020, 9:26 AM
@marvel72 - He said gay lead in Eternals would be Hercules. Which turned out to be bs

MCU cosmic is not trustworthy

@marvel72 - All these rumor posts have just been culled from reddit over the last few weeks. The writers here just wait for blogs like MCU Cosmic to post them first to try and make it look like they aren't just "reporting" BS from reddit, which IS what they're doing. You can literally get ALL of this sites Marvel news off of r/marvelstudiosspoilers anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple days before it shows up here.

If it is now going to be considered a rumor and nothing solid then I'll stop giving this my attention until some is more concrete.

@NinnesMBC - It's always been reddit rumors. that's where these articles come from.

This shit is getting so stupid. We get it, news has been slow. Marvel’s been playing things pretty close to the chest. Just keep throwing shit at the wall and see what sticks.

And no, we haven’t forgotten about your epic Sony meltdown.

Yep, more BS.

I bet if enough people here used, and convinced people to use, the hashtag #ToddZiller on twitter MCU Cosmic would write an article about their hearing some buzz from the studios.

I unironically enjoyed Ewing's New/US Avengers.
Deklipz
Deklipz - 2/19/2020, 9:48 AM
@Reeds2Much - Start the rumor on reddit and it'll be here citing MCU Cosmic or whatever other shitty blog picks it up as the source within a day...
