There have been rumblings for a while that The Incredible Hulk might finally join its fellow MCU movies on Disney+, but it's now been confirmed, and you really don't have very long to wait. Check it out!

Iron Man launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe in style and The Incredible Hulk followed a few short months later.

Unfortunately, the movie didn't receive the same overwhelmingly positive critical and commercial response, making it something of a black sheep in the Marvel Studios family. Not helping matters was the backstage drama that ensued with star Edward Norton.

He'd later walk away from the role, opening the door to Mark Ruffalo taking over as Bruce Banner four years later in The Avengers (becoming an MCU mainstay in the process).

The 2008 blockbuster has rarely been referenced by Marvel Studios, though that finally changed in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Several characters from the movie will also return in next year's Captain America: Brave New World with the prevailing theory being that it's going to set the stage for a World War Hulk project.

While The Incredible Hulk was made available on HBO Max early last year, Disney+ has announced that the movie will finally be added to its streaming platform starting tomorrow

This is great news, especially for newer MCU fans who may not have had the chance to watch the Jade Giant's solo outing before now. While by no means perfect, there's a lot to enjoy about the blockbuster, including an epic battle between The Hulk and Abomination (which was a key plot point in She-Hulk).

Marvel Studios teamed up with Universal Pictures to make the movie, and it's because of that we haven't seen the Jade Giant take centre stage in his own movie since. The two sides clearly reached an agreement to bring The Incredible Hulk to Disney+, though, so here's hoping it stays there.

This movie is ok. Not great. Not terrible. But it’s certainly good news that it can join the rest of the MCU.

Speaking of New World Order, it’s quite odd that so many Hulk adjacent characters have been announced and Hulk hasn’t been. They might be keeping his inclusion secret for now, but if he isn’t in it that will be a very odd decision.

@mountainman - Brave New World.

@mountainman - I enjoyed The Hulk very much even with it's minor issues I'd say enjoyed it as much as MoS.

It was 10x better than Ang Lees version of Hulk.

@mountainman - I like it. Back when the MCU had a more serious, grounded tone.

And see, I'm not a "must be dark and gritty" kind of dude, but the MCU got carried away. GoTG and Winter Soldier being released in the same year represented the perfect balance to it IMO.

@Fogs - I appreciate a more serious tone. Winter Soldier is still my favorite MCU movie.

I don’t dislike this movie, it’s just a bit boring at parts.

Now that we've all seen it countless times already, yippee. But really, nice to have the black sheep of the MCU given its proper standing as of late.

This movie is over-hated. It's main issue is it's boring.

@UrbanTheEmcee - I love how they brought the 70's series Bruce in this. His origin and the lonely scenes. The sad theme even plays once when he wakes up in Colombia or wherever that is, after the 1st action scene.

I occasionally come across some weirdo on social media who insists that Ed Norton is simply playing a variant Bruce Banner from another universe, and it was Marvel Studio’s plan all along to replace him with another actor so Norton could return in some future crossover event film… and not because Norton is a control freak who got too hands-on with his Hulk movie, made several uncredited rewrites to the script, threw a tantrum when he learned he wouldn’t get a writing credit for the film, and childishly refused to promote the film which ultimately hurt the film’s box office.

@santoanderson - It's true! They are doing the same thing with Terence Howard!

It's all connected!
