It's been a while since Ray Fisher has commented publicly on his allegations against WarnerMedia, but the actor took to social media over the weekend to make it clear that he plans to "stay the course."

It's been almost a year since Justice League star Ray Fisher first levelled a series of extremely damaging accusations against Joss Whedon and WarnerMedia, and he's showing no signs of slowing down.

While the actor has been a little less vocal since Zack Snyder's Justice League was released, it's become clear that he's not willing to allow Walter Hamada, Toby Emmerich, and Geoff Johns - who Fisher has said enabled Whedon - to get away with their alleged actions during those reshoots.

Fisher emphasised that in a Tweet sent out over the weekend. "Walter Hamada, Toby Emmerich, Geoff Johns and Warner believe everything will blow over if they just ignore it hard enough. It won't," the Cyborg actor said. "They played, and lost, a very dangerous game. I've been encouraged by every industry professional to stay the course. And I shall."

WarnerMedia has already investigated what happened on the movie's set back in 2017, ultimately deciding that the trio mentioned above were not at fault. Despite that, Johns has gone very quiet in recent months (he's yet to respond to anything Fisher has said), while Whedon's career has been hurt most. That's not a surprise given how many people came forward to make allegations about him.

Whether Fisher really is going to get anywhere with this remains to be seen. WarnerMedia is clearly keen to move on and have made their intention to do so apparent with various statements and interviews. With that in mind, we're doubtful Fisher will get the outcome he's clearly keen on.

What's to blow over? We now pretty much known it was about him not wanting to say 'booyah', something everyone joked about turned into fact.
It'd be better for Ray if this blew over.

I stopped following Ray Fisher on social media a while ago and can definitely say my enjoyment of the internet hasn’t suffered one bit.

Oh man now it sounds like he starts to imagine things. I doubt there are many who tell him to stay his course (crusade almost). I completely agree with that toxic environments should be exposed, just not in the way Ray does it.

@bkmeijer - I know! Its like, dude, we know. You made your point, WB could have done better, should have done better. People made mistakes, made poor choices whether intentionally or unintentionally. Try to move on, at least for the sake of your own career. Its out, and forever available to review on the internet...move on!

Sounding like he doesn't have anything else to worry about or no other opportunities to focus on. No one will want to work with him if he keeps this up, they'll be scared he'll blow up their whole operation the minute he disagrees or works with someone that is rough around the edges!

@bkmeijer - Agreed, Ray has become toxic himself to the point where even people who agree with him are just tired of hearing him say the same thing. He may not care what those fans think, but he's just becoming unlikeable. (Channeling my inner Faora) And if Hollywood has proven anything, it's that entertainment always wins.

And are these industry professionals who encouraged you to stay the course in the room with us right now?

If the allegations are as devastating as he makes them sound, I do respect that he won’t let it die. We insist he’s being annoying (and he is in a way, for sure) but we also know movie studios and producers get away with a ton of mistreatment. Things never change unless someone pushes to change them. The martyrdom/tough guy angle is getting a little old though.

@GameOn - I think everyone's just annoyed with the vagueness of his accusations. If he came out and said "This is what happened, this is why its bad" he'd have more people on his side.

@SiegFirebrand - Yeah. Bit instead he played this weird guessing game and dragged it out for so long. He expected people to jump to his cause without having any idea of what happened.

@SiegFirebrand - I agree and that’s what I find annoying too, but maybe he’s not legally able to because specific details would jeopardize the investigation, or maybe some other reason. And I don’t think he cares about public opinion on his side so much or that he’ll get another job, which is why I do somewhat admire him drawing this out. It sounds like it was a real thing and he won’t rest until the big guys at the top are brought to some form of justice, he just doesn’t have the clout for anyone to care without evidence.

@GameOn - no. Everything that he wanted to come out came out in his HR article. At the worst joss whedon was passive aggressive. This as it's always been. Nothing.

I forgot the specific quote from Better Call Saul but it had to do with Mike discussing with Saul about when do you not think about the killing anymore. Mike said something about your gonna wake up one day, do your regular tasks and realize you hadn't thought about it in a long time. Now swipe out killing for Ray Fisher situation that's what happened to me. I hadn't thought about it in a long time until this article brought it back up.

"I've been encouraged by every industry professional to stay the course."

Really? Wow! Every industry professional? EVERY one? So like, every professional in the entire film industry? Somehow I doubt that.

It's still a town where no one wants to work with people who talk out of pocket.

Sorry, Ray, but you did it to yourself.
