They’re too busy with shit like Agatha and finding a new Kang 🙄

@FireandBlood - How is Agatha shit when you haven't seen it? You guys with your personal biases. The character was the best thing to come out of WandaVision.
FireandBlood
FireandBlood - 1/26/2024, 12:36 PM
@GeneralChaos - You guys with you illiteracy. “Shit like Agatha” not “Agatha is shit”.

Read, my guy.

@mountainman - Who tf knows 🤷‍♂️
GeneralChaos
GeneralChaos - 1/26/2024, 12:48 PM
@FireandBlood - Well you didn't say shit like Deadpool 3 or shit like Fantastic Four or shit like X-Men 97 so it reads like you're saying it's shit. It's a weird thing, to single Agatha out.
FireandBlood
FireandBlood - 1/26/2024, 1:02 PM
@GeneralChaos - Because those projects aren’t a waste of time. Agatha is, and there isn’t a thing weird about pointing that out.

Nobody gives a [frick] about Agatha.
mountainman
mountainman - 1/26/2024, 1:05 PM
@GeneralChaos - Are you seriously trying to compare Agatha to the X-Men or FF?
GeneralChaos
GeneralChaos - 1/26/2024, 1:09 PM
@FireandBlood - So I was right the first time.

Fans of WandaVision are certainly interested. I liked the character and love the actress.
GeneralChaos
GeneralChaos - 1/26/2024, 1:11 PM
@mountainman - Are you seriously not understanding those are all upcoming projects Marvel is working on?
FireandBlood
FireandBlood - 1/26/2024, 1:20 PM
@GeneralChaos - No they’re not.
mountainman
mountainman - 1/26/2024, 1:43 PM
@GeneralChaos - Your comment that I originally commented in response to:

“ How is Agatha shit when you haven't seen it? You guys with your personal biases. The character was the best thing to come out of WandaVision.”

@FireandBlood said “shit like Agatha”. This isn’t evaluating a project that hasn’t come out. This is a comment on how the MCU is prioritizing projects that many fans do not care about (Agatha). There is a distinct reason that the overall popularity of the MCU has reduced lately and it’s because they are focusing far too much on F list characters like Agatha.
GeneralChaos
GeneralChaos - 1/26/2024, 2:23 PM
@mountainman - They're focused on A list as well. Guardians was F list before they made them superstars. It was a breakout character and she's getting her own show, just like Loki. Loki became a breakout character. Taking advantage of their talent is smart.
GeneralChaos
GeneralChaos - 1/26/2024, 2:25 PM
@FireandBlood - Deadpool, X-Men and Agatha are all coming out this year. FF is being cast so it's being worked on.
mountainman
mountainman - 1/26/2024, 2:29 PM
@GeneralChaos - Just don’t get offended when people say they aren’t interested in it. I’m not and have a close to 0% chance of watching it.

If I was an MCU fan that liked current MCU like you seem to be, I would want them to make things that more people like. If fewer people continue watching this stuff like the trend has gone for several years now, it’ll go away.

If you like it, that’s your choice. But modern MCU mostly sucks and this show sure seems to keep that tradition going.
GeneralChaos
GeneralChaos - 1/26/2024, 3:59 PM
@mountainman - I'm not offended if people don't like something. I've disliked plenty myself. What does offend me is people calling something shit or trash when they haven't seen it. It's not my choice to like Marvel. I like good things and I still find good stuff.

People literally announced they were stopping after Endgame, which is also fine. This is a franchise with close to 40 films and series. There's going to be some burn out. The fact that only now the numbers have dropped is a testament to how good it's been and they've maintained that with some films and series like GotG 3 and Loki. It's quality that matters and if they stay committed to that, people will watch. If not, they'll just reboot the whole thing and people will return if only out of curiosity and the freshness of it. The new DCU will be the first test of that.

bkmeijer1 - 1/26/2024, 6:15 PM
@FireandBlood - maybe they should just make Selvig the new Kang. We already know Selvig is a big physics guy, so maybe he becomes too obsessed with it

9) that was literally a year ago. Give it some time for us to forget about him.

8) they didn't forget her. She's dead. And was literally in the what if episode this season.

7) Aaron Davis is a nothing character in the mcu. All he got is the actor and the fact comic Davis is the prowler and miles uncle.

The rest are fine except dey.
marvel72
marvel72 - 1/26/2024, 12:11 PM
Moon Knight is the only one worth returning if they actually use him correctly this time.
mountainman
mountainman - 1/26/2024, 12:17 PM
@marvel72 - I’d say Tiamut too. At least a reference for this giant hand sitting in the ocean. Or exploring the rumors that his body may contain adamantium. Or tie to Galactus or other celestials.
JustAWaffle
JustAWaffle - 1/26/2024, 3:09 PM
@marvel72 - Yeah, I thought MK was the only one in there that didn’t belong. It’s too soon to say he’s forgotten.
Variant
Variant - 1/26/2024, 12:13 PM
It's a good problem to have honestly. The bandwidth to make projects with all of the characters established in the MCU is entirely too limited. But we have the characters...they're there. We just don't have alllll the stories we want from them right this moment.

Other CBM studios would kill to have this problem.
Apophis71
Apophis71 - 1/26/2024, 1:15 PM
@Variant - Yeh, I get folk havin differing priorities on who they want introduced and completely get complaints regarding quality but some of these were from stuff in production when they were pushing too many projects at once whilst dealing with issues related to COVID. That is going to make it more difficult to coordinate and connect rapidly and how much direct connectivity is wanted or needed as some have complained of too much bein percieved required viewing as is.

I kinda tuned out from the list when the first is one who will idealy need a second season first and how long it took from WandaVision to returning to WestView and how much everything has been pushed back, what with most of last year wiped out due stries, as well as for various other reasons too soon to think there won't be a second season or him popping up in some other project.

9. Moon Knight - bring him back but write him better
8. Nova Prime - Nobody cares and we should assume she died when Thanos destroyed Xandar
7. Aaron Davis - it’s been so long, but hypothetically he could be in Spiderman 4 but I don’t think many people care about this
6. Tiamat - It’s unacceptable that this hasn’t been referenced yet. This should have been a very big deal and it wasn’t.
5. Dr Selvig - Nah we got enough of him. I’m good.
4. Mitchell Carson - nah who cares about him?
3. Dr. Cho - nah who cares about her?
2. Rhomann Dey - Reiley wasn’t a good acting for this role and we should assume he died when Thanos destroyed Xandar
1. Samson - it’s been so long and Burrell wasn’t a good casting. If anything, recast the role with someone larger after Samson gains his powers.

MotherGooseUPus - 1/26/2024, 1:00 PM
@mountainman -
9. Moon Knight - yes, we need him back, and he will... eventually
8. Nova Prime - Nobody cares
7. Aaron Davis - Nobody cares
6. Tiamat - one of the Biggest blunders in the MCU by not addressing this already
5. Dr Selvig - ill miss him but not needed anymore
4. Mitchell Carson - id like to see what happened to him and those particles
3. Dr. Cho - Nobody cares
2. Rhomann Dey - Nobody cares
1. Samson - Nobody cares
Apophis71
Apophis71 - 1/26/2024, 2:03 PM
@mountainman - Yup, why anyone would care much about random science person beyond MAYBE appearing once her child she was pregnant with had become a teen is beyond me otherwise she would likely be as much wallpaper as that Gallagher guy from the first Avenger movie.

Aaron would likely only be able to turn up in Spider-man movies anyway, and only if Sony allowed him and Miles to be in the MCU more than that one Easter Egg which is unlikely until they finish their Spiderverse films.

This list is all around odd however when they include Selvig who was in Thor 4 so been in five MCU films already. I mean we didn't even have Jane Foster in Thor3 etc and how many science peeps were needed in IW when you had Banner, Stark and Shuri and trying crammed in enough main cast as is, surprising how great it was considering how many characters included, and wouldn't make much sense coming through a portal to fight in Endgame.

Realy, the mess left with Xandar from how Gunn used them then ditched from IW, that and Tiamat are the only real issues but both likely to be dealt with eventualy. Samson could come back, recast or not, at some point with his powers if they want but considering how long we had to wait for Emil Blonsky to return probably shouldn't hold our breath. Carson easily could turn up in Armor wars but does it realy matter if he doesn't as few will remember who he was I suspect.

Ultimately with the amount of characters Marvel has they could use a lot of the time why has this or that character not been seen again are mostly silly issues to have as forcing them into stuff could be seen as much of a problem as some have with why any given new character is introduced and/or get their own film/show over who they would prefer.

Final point, too soon to write off MK returning, strikes and all the delayed releases and pushed back projects a couple years of no confirmed news on him getting a second series or other appearance is nothing considering we've waited longer to hear much of anything regarding Tiamat etc from Eternals and STILL waiting for Blade and potentialy Black Knight and no confirmed cast list yet for F4.

While we haven’t seen them since their last appearances , that doesn’t necessarily mean they have been forgotten by Marvel Studios.

We have just gotten the Leader back for christs sakes so come on…

Marvel has thousands of characters at their disposal and are managing a bunch of projects so relax and just wait & see please.

Anyway , I do hope we get something Moon Knight related soon since that show is still one of my favorites from the post EG era.

9 - Moon Knight. The show was lousy. Fix this great character & bring him back.

8 - Nova Prime. Small role. Not worth bringing back other than some very minor way.

7 - Glover. Forget this a$$hat TV funny man & keep the cartoon stuff far away from live action MCU.

6 - Tiamut. Some plot device to be revisited. Okay. Yawn.

5 - Selvig. He's pretty good. Working him in occasionally is okay.

4,3 - Carson, Cho. Yawn. Who cares?

2 - Day. Okay. Maybe as a survivor who is now a Ravager.

1 - Samson. Hmmm. Maybe when we get around to WW Hulk.

GeneralChaos
GeneralChaos - 1/26/2024, 12:30 PM
How can you say Dr. Selvig is forgotten when he was in Love and Thunder?

And how is Nova Prime forgotten when she is presumed dead in Infinity War?

Also, Tiamut and Aaron Davis showing up elsewhere doesn't count as forgotten.

Weird list.
Apophis71
Apophis71 - 1/26/2024, 2:40 PM
@GeneralChaos - Esp with Aaron Davis who literaly can only appear in Spider-man films due to Sony owning all the rights to him for live action and they have used in two of their own, all be it animated films. I mean theoreticaly Disney could cut a deal to use Prowler in a non Spider-man film but why would they when that means sharing the BO with them when other villains available to use, who would want that and where would they do so that makes sense?

There’s so much on the horizon right now, the only ones that are important to continue the stories for me are MK and Tiamat.

There has been very few movies where mentioning Tiamut would’ve made sense. Just mentioning that shit just because would’ve had everyone saying forced.

We knew from the jump Isaac wasn’t going to be all over the MCU.

Miles will show up eventually.

It’s an ever evolving and growing universe some characters will be sidelined and brought back later and some never will

So just because we dont know what the MCU is doing that means they forgot about characters? I cant stand some of you bitches.

Just bring back decent writers and directors. This lot can stay forgotten.
