Wait... So there's no event and you made a hypothetical list for a hypothetical event? Lol I thought the event was announced or something.

I agree it's bout time for some marvel announcements though

@MyCoolYoung - We just got a big one with Ant Man and She Hulk. I am wondering wtf is taking so long with this Falcon and WS release date.

Not even a trailer...

The only one of these I am slightly interested in is F4.

"Daredevil, in particular, could do with a movie that finally does him justice"

Marvel doesn't need to do an event like DC Fandom, DC needed too do it to keep the G.A. interested.

@Eagles0589 - And to actually give their fans an idea of what they're supposed to be excited about.

The fan conversation around DC is frequently led around by the nose by Snyder's loyalists fomenting hashtags and pushing rumors to drive hype for their pet creatives. Journalism and "journalism" create a constant chaos that rarely get officially debunked. And WB's own false starts and scuttled announcements haven't done them any favors, either.

It's not too far out from the DC Fandom and so much of the digital ink on their franchises is currently being driven by a renegade Twitch streamer.

On the Marvel side, there seems to be a pretty straightforward consensus that the rumors are fun and worth indulging, but the only real announcements come from Feige's shop and the most reliable sources. Personally, I tend to like getting announcements and reliable reporting in a trickle because something like She-Hulk's casting will keep me jazzed for a week on its own, and then I'll get jazzed all over again when I see them make a big fuss over it.

I didn't really care all that much about the actual announcements at the DC event, but taken as a big chunk like they were, they were hard to really analyze and digest for me.

Also, the 2014 Marvel event may have been a good idea on the whole or maybe not, it's hard to say. Putting out that marker of "we're officially doing Infinity War" was a big deal worth making a big deal about.

But it also meant a long long time to sit staring at a logo for a movie like Captain Marvel. You let people sit with an sealed box for too long and their ideas of whats in it will inevitably dwarf whatever is inside.

Can we let the Russos go first before talking about their return?

@Doomsday8888 - or we can talk about them returning after leaving after they return.

Marvel doesn't need to bother with a FanDome type of event. Just announcing films and casting announcements is more than enough.

When the Marvel news starts flying it feels like every day is a Fandome

One of the nerd cultural bits of normalcy is MCU news and this recent bundle of info on WV/FalconCap/She Hulk is a reminder of how big that those moments used to be throughout the week

Sorely missed
