whoever is going to helm The Flash movie ought to take some inspiration from the effects they did for Julie Benz's portrayal of speed and build on it...

I thought it was great. Entertainment all the way thru, plus I got to stare at Julie Benz a lot. Great show indeed.

I liked it and I have to agree with @LOL on this one, the flash effects were nice. There is absolutely no excuse for not making a Flash movie, if a TV program can use such effects I see no reason why they can't make better effects for an awesome movie. Hopefully the story does not become like Heroes, but I must confess the end had me intrigued. Nice disappearing effects too.

It's good to hear your feedback. Im still struggling with the decision as to whether or not I should watch a show, enjoy it, get addicted to it (like heroes or Terminator) and then only to see it get cancelled.

I.. LOVED IT! I thought it was very well put together, perfect blend of comedy and story, had the vibe of Zoom with Tim Allen for some reason.. Not everything, but something in the show reminded me of that movie..

Mr Incredible, Flash-Woman, Sookie Stackhouse and..(?)
Ultra-familiar themes but refreshingly different.
Like Heroes, there's a lot of possibilities, so it could get better.

And Dexter's wife never looked so good!

God knows when it will air in the UK so I'll be checking it out online later today - everything I've seen so far makes me think it looks great though! :)

I have not watched it yet. I get the Incredibles because of the characters being a family. Otherwise it sounds exactly like Heroes to me.

...i liked how they got straight to it. didn't make you wait the entire episode for them to get their powers. other than the daughter being extremely annoying, it was ok. cool little show, wont last long though.

I really like it. The dad's fight in the parking deck was pretty cool. Good effects. I think it has a lot of potential. Oh and Julie Benz is HAWT!

It was okay. I liked the Michael Chiklis stuff, but that was about it. Hated that kid's hair and the Dad from 7th Heaven.

I watched it and all I have to say is, "Meh..." It's 'The Incredibles' meets 'Heros'. Did they REALLY think they'd be 'twist-y' at the end with what's-her-face's boss? Ooooooo, SO not impressed.

HULK watched the show last night and HULK thought it was like Sky High meets Heroes. HULK thinks it was alright. Nothing exciting. It might work for one season.

It was pretty lame....As for where the inspiration came from; basically all the above plus any cheesy superhero show ever made....There was more blood in it than I expected though. I'll give it one more go to see if any kind of decent story pops up.

Obviously the show won't be original and it's family friendly, but it was still good. The effects and fights were great for TV like when he fought the teleporter. Good start so far.

There's only 2 influences really because...

X-Men => Heroes
Fantastic 4 => Incredibles

I thought it was pretty good especially for a series premiere, I also liked the fact that they got right into it. I'll stick around for it.

this was the most cliche show that has been put out in a while. And for being a show about super heroes it was the most boring ass show in the world, it just dragged on and i wanted it to end. And how in the [frick] can the THING catch bullets, is he super fast too? Anyways the whole thing was retarded. Heroes was better before it got stupid. They should just cancel it.
