Once again, saying it's the best reviewed film in a long time isnt saying much.

Franchise fatigue was real for Terminator because it shouldn't have been a franchise. The story was completed in the first two films, at most it would have been nice to see a future set film, directed by Cameron.

They retreaded the first two films, with the only difference being a new character replacing John Conner, if you wanted to do that, should have rebooted

Terminator: Dark Fate - "This is how you destroy a franchise by cheapening existing films and characters while undoing everything they struggled and fought for."

Disney Star Wars - "Hold my beer."
😆 😑

@Feralwookiee - BVS - "Ahem!"

@demery - Yeah, but it's not like the DCEU had built up a good franchise or decent versions of their characters to begin with.

@Feralwookiee - It could've, but it didn't.

I can have fun with some of the Disney Star Wars materials. Dark Fate had enough good performances and decent action sequences to help me get through the MAJOR problems it had.

BVS had none.

I thought Dark Fate was a mostly good movie, with a couple of really strong performances, but boy am I tired of this series. Why couldn’t Tim Miller take the good parts of Dark Fate (Mackenzie Davis & Gabriel Luna) and make a new non-Terminator sci-fi movie? And you wouldn’t have to spend $200 million on it.

@santoanderson - I felt like it either needed another rewrite or it should've been longer. The performances and some of the action sequences were the highlights for me that made me not hate it that much despite it's MAJOR problems.
