I'll never watch FFH again. It joins ASM 2 as the only Spidey films I just can't re-watch.

@BlackBeltJones - it's sad, but I've watched ASM2 more times that FFH. FFH does not qualify as a Spider-Man movie. Apart from the Mysterio illusion sequence, it's too [frick]ing blah.

"Fandango, for when you want to order your movie tickets two months in advance, and then get to the theater and have them have no record of you ordering them... USE FANDANGO!"

Didn't love Far From Home, aside from the one mysterio scene that everyone loves and the one cameo that everyone loves.

I was thinking about this tho, why is it that these villains don't strike me as much as the Rami ones did? I think it comes down to how they fight Peter. Neither really do, thus I hope that the next movie has a villain that can pose a physical threat to Spider Man and that we get some interesting fight scenes out of them.

@DannRamm113 - Most of, if not all of, the MCU heroes get the shit beat out of them by their villains.

Bucky did Cap in. Killmonger laid T'Challa the [frick] out. Kurse [frick]ed up Thor etc. Now Vulture did give Peter an ass whooping. He walked away with bruises. FFH...sure he was bloodied and what not but I never got the sense he was physically in "danger danger." It all felt like a videogame.

Mysterio is a different kind of threat I guess.

Raimi made Peter get the living shit kicked out of him. You felt like he was in danger and had to really fight like hell to best his adversaries.

@BlackBeltJones - With Vulture, I honestly can't remember the fight scenes, I remember the scene of them in the car and the warehouse, which are both really good, but then again the original villains had great dialogue scenes along with action (i think the only one that didn't get a real talk with Peter in the original trilogy was Venom, which even then looked cool). With vulture though, they fought at night, hed fly away, which okay fine vulture doesn't have combat training.

Mysterio, again I can understand he's not a fighter, but I feel like the last scene having Peter fighting drones (i hated the drones so much) was a wasted climax for him.

Idk, in terms of others, Killmonger is my favorite MCU villain, and I know that they can do villains right. I just wish they would use some of that with Spidey, who arguably has the 2nd best rogues gallery in comics.

@DannRamm113 - I agree.

Spidey doesn't physically fight Vulture or Mysterio in either HC and FFH. He has a fee web swings and jumps, but no physical punches or kicks.

Now remember the Goblin or Ock. They beat the sh*t out of Spidey in the Raimi films. The train scene had me on the edge of my seat.

With Holland, you just don't feel he is ever in danger.

What's with the hate on FFM? While I liked Homecoming a bit more, I thought FFM was pretty good.

Far From Home poisoned my water supply, burned my crops & delivered a plague unto my house.

I don't think I'll watch them anytime soon again, but I do wish they released more IMAX movies for home tv. Such a waste to only show that additional 33% only in cinemas

Welp if its an only US thing than pirating here I come. Don't care about the IMAX versions of these 2 movies. Infinity War and Endgame ? Yeah I would pay 100 bucks just to see those IMAX versions
