There are countless rumours doing the rounds out there about Spider-Man 3 right now (most of which are pretty hard to believe), but Tom Holland has finally landed in Atlanta, Georgia to start shooting.

In a story shared to his Instagram account, Holland confirmed that he's now in the city, saying: "Okay, so we just landed in Atlanta, and...it’s time for Spider-Man 3! Let’s go!" While it's possible we'll get some set photos, the image below indicates that Marvel Studios is being as careful as possible when it comes to ensuring fans don't get an early look at what's on the way.

Some are convinced that this massive set is The Raft, but that's highly unlikely, especially when it would more than likely be brought to life with visual effects (if it's even in the highly anticipated threequel).

Sony Pictures have hinted that there will be some sort of Spider-Man 3 reveal in December, and while it's still unclear whether the movie is going to take the web-slinger into the "Spider-Verse," there's a huge amount of excitement for what Marvel Studios has planned for the fugitive Peter Parker.

Check out Holland's message to fans below:

Hopefully the villain isnt connected to tony stark.

I get they dont have norman osborn right now, but there are other ways to make supervillains

@dracula - it'll turn out stark went to the amazing spiderman universe and told electro he's a loser, so now he's coming to the mcu to get revenge.

@dracula - Spider-Man villains when asked about Tony Stank:

@dracula - Kinda sad but MCU has turned him to Stark Jr. In FFH he's basically been given the task of just cleaning up Tony's mess. Shang Chi is prob going to be the same too with Mandarin. Its going to become a tiring trope if all the upcoming films and tv shows are just about cleaning up Iron Man and Cap villains

If there was ever a CBM I'd describe my feelings towards as cautiously optimistic....

I get that if those rumors of Tobey are true then it’s just empty fan service by a director not even on the same stratosphere as Raimi, but I feel like I’ll just eat that shit up lol

@tmp3 - I would like to see Tobey's Spider-Villain again. Maybe a look at Dylan Baker's scaly Lizard. Even if it's just an effective way to reintroduce the viewer into Raimi's universe.

@tmp3 - there’s really no point in doing SpiderVerse if they can’t get all three big spidermen to sign on for significant roles

Skin feels itchy. Need a villain's name.

Just a word and I could make it on a teaser alone til opening night.

@heyy1 - ?? I think my 4am brain blocked that detail out. He wouldn’t be the main villain though, right? Holy crap that would be a let down after Keaton’s Vulture and Mysterio’s visually flawless character design. Possibly the last MCU Spidey solo! and they’re ending on a retread villain? Slightly more awake and I still can’t process this.

@parkerray - don't forget, Django, I mean Jamie Fox is a very big star too. makes sense for him to be main villain buissness-wise.

Here's hoping this is a more impactful movie and doesn't brush off the consequences of the last one.

I hope we get a first look at set photos soon, but based on the last couple productions, it might not be much. Regardless, I’m excited that production is really taking off.

By the end of FFH he's mastered his abilities (mainly his spidey senses), and has grown to be a hero of his own. I think their on the right path. I just hope we're not getting a Spiderverse this early. Maybe tease it by the end of the movie?
