These Sony movies are all wild. They all got some magic blood subplots starting with TASM 2. Avi Arad must have a magic blood fetish holy shit.

@JFerguson - The magic blood fetish is actually Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci's thing. Those two wrote Star Trek Into Darkness, which had it. Then they wrote TASM2, which also had it. Made just about as little sense in both of those. And, apparently, they were also going to put it into Star Wars. They wrote a draft for the Force Awakens sequel before Rian Johnson, which would've had magic Jedi blood, that would've made Rey time travel, or something.

@Odin - good catch. Someone at Sony must have taken Orci and Kurtzmans’ manuscript for writing B-story magic blood subplots and decided to run with it.

Maaaaaan...

I remember when Ryan Coogler toyed with the idea of first introducing Kraven as a Black Panther villain who later becomes fascinated with Spider-Man.

That would have been incredibly interesting. Kraven could have stolen some of the heart shaped herb as his source of strength and taken it outside of Wakanda...instead of whatever this lion blood thing is.

I mean the Spider didn’t even bleed on Peter so the lion thing seems more realistic.

Why would Aaron Taylor Johnson take on this role? I dont get it. I mean, I get an actor "needing" work but come on. There's no reason for them to make some of the significant changes they made. Sigh. I havent seen Morbius yet but I just hope that this does not turn out to be in the same vain.

I really don't understand why they keep trolling Rhino. This "Mutant Rhino" was used in "Ultimate Spider-man" and "Disney's Spider-man" too....What the hell? I just wanted someone like the PS4 Rhino, they could use a 6.5 tall russian dude with an armor, basically Iron-Man on steroids and Rhino themed. Not a big Transformer-Rhino, not a Mutant Rhino.

Well, since a mystical-herb is pretty much what BLACK PANTHER used in the MCU to gain his cat-like powers, maybe SONY really didn't have a choice but to "reimagine" a different method for the K-Man to gain his powers. 🤓

Why, Sony? Why? What is going on here? Aaron Taylor Johnson is a solid actor, who can obviously do the accent, at the very least. And how'd they get a star like Crowe to do this sh*t?

I think the only way for this film to redeem itself is if Crowe's Kravinoff is revealed to be Spidey's Kraven.

Didn't the MCU completely change Mrs. Marvel's powers and how she got said powers... It's not like the MCU always follows the comics by the letter. Maybe why not wait for the movie to be released before judging so much?

So we saw a glimpse of the Rhino at the end of the trailer but just before in the previous scene you see another character jump along the wall towards the camera a bit like Venom or the Nightcrawler would. Any ideas?
