Cameras are rolling on The Flash in England, and there's heaps of buzz online after an unknown figure was spotted stalking Wayne Manor in a trench coat. Is it a random crew member or a secret cast member?

Another round of photos from the set of The Flash have zoomed online, and they are yet again from Burghley House in Lincolnshire, England. The impressive building doubled for Wayne Manor in 1989's Batman, and will be used again in this film for Barry Allen's first meeting with Bruce Wayne.

However, it's not the Dark Knight's home we're talking about today. Instead, some shots of a mysterious man with a long black beard wearing a trench coat have got the internet buzzing.

This isn't someone wearing a robe to hide their costume, and we have no real clue whether it's a stunt person or crew member simply having a look around the building, or if filming was underway. If this is a character in The Flash, then it's possible that he's an enemy of Batman's, though some wilder fan theories have suggested we could be looking at Vandal Savage!

That may sound like a stretch, but remember that The Flash's big bad has not been revealed.

In other news, Scotland's The Daily Record has revealed that areas in Glasgow and Edinburgh are set to be transformed in an effort to recreate "gothic scenes" akin to what we saw from Tim Burton's version of Gotham City.

Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Saroise-Monica Jackson, and Rudy Mancuso. The film is currently scheduled to release in theaters on November 4, 2022.

Wonder what happened to this universe’s Robin…

@BlackBeltJones - all joking aside, I'm wondering if they'd be willing to bring him in as this universe's Robin, kinda like with the fan theory of bringing in nic cage as the burtonverse superman.

@Origame - I say why not. He’s was supposed to be Robin at one time. Just go for it and do it simply as a way to make up for something that should’ve happened.

@Origame - According to a script leak, Supergirl is this universes only surviving Kryptonian. There never was a Superman.

Massive shame that they didn't take this opportunity to finally give us Nic Cage's Superman and canonize Superman Lives as part of the Burtonverse.

@BlackBeltJones - I don't think he minds that he never suited up as Robin onscreen. He still gets residuals due to the contract he signed.

@BlackBeltJones - how does Supergirl being the last Kryptonian in a different universe sound awful?

I think of a villain, but he is not a Batman villain.

Would I be the only one who lost their mind if it turned out to be an older grizzled Dick Grayson played by Chris O'Donnell?

@Carnage1991 - I know that was Schumacher but it's still the same universe. Would be really great if they were able to give him something really cool to do. And I don't mean laundry this time.

Please stop saying it's the same [frick]ing building. It isn't! The original was Knebworth House for '89. This is a completely different [frick]ing building!
