Production on Thor: Love and Thunder continues in Australia, and this latest batch of set photos have really left us intrigued. While it's no secret that this movie is somewhat 1980s-inspired (that logo is a dead giveaway), Chris Hemsworth has been spotted sporting what can only be described as a very unexpected new look for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's God of Thunder.
Looking like he's ready to star in an '80s workout video, Thor can be seen wearing red and white sweatbands, while also decked out in a black vest, grey sweatpants, and black boots.
These scenes were shot yesterday in Sydney's Centennial Park, and more photos can be viewed at Mail Online. It makes sense that Thor might have started making himself more at home on Earth/Midgard, though we're not entirely sure what's led to him being inspired by fashion from this decade.
Even Thor's new costume has an '80s feel, and we're definitely excited to see where director Taika Waititi plans to take the franchise with this fourth instalment. He's actually been making headlines for very different reasons lately after the paparazzi spotted him getting cosy with Rita Ora and Valkyrie actress Tessa Thompson, leading to speculation that they're part of a "throuple."
Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in theaters on May 6, 2022.
