Bumblebee star Hailee Steinfeld has just debuted her brand new single, "Back to Life," from the original motion picture soundtrack for her upcoming Travis Knight-directed Transformers spinoff/prequel.

Republic Records and Academy Award-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld have debuted a brand new original song, titled "Back to Life," which will feature as the lead single on the upcoming original motion picture soundtrack for Paramount's Bumblebee.

The song, which was produced by Jorgen Odegard and co-written by him with Michael Pollack, Josh Gudwin and Kennedy Lykken, is currently available to purchase on iTunes and Amazon. It is also available to stream on a number of popular music sites, including Apple Music and Spotify. Head over to the following link for more details.



 
On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

BB will find its audience through the packed Christmas Season. Paramount just needs to hold on throughout the early winter and give it time. The marketing In two trailers has displayed more attention to detail, patience and heart than all previous TF Movies combined.

Just be patient...and hopefully the budget wasn’t insane!

@IronGenesis - $102 million budget. I wouldht be concerned though this film gets the families and original transformers fans in so there should be no worries of it making profit.

She's definitely got range with her acting. She did very well with the role of an awkward teenager, and now apparently they are trying for a younger iteration of the female mechanic type (a la Megan Fox) which seems to fit her so far. She's cute, but I'm old enough to be her uncle.
