After weeks of rave reviews, AMC's Preacher finally premiered last night and introduced us to Jesse Custer. We have a new promo for next week's installment along with the first clip. Check it out!

"Tom Cruise has died... spontaneously exploded." - HBO's hit fantasy series Game Of Thrones may have dropped the gauntlet last night with a heartbreaking demise, but AMC's Preacher had a pretty solid counter when they revealed that the Hollywood legend had perished due to a mysterious entity seeking a host, which it managed to find later when it merged with Jesse Custer. As we pour one out for the fallen Mission: Impossible star and look ahead to next week, things will certainly get more interesting as Custer learns more about his new powers and we meet Cowboy. Check out the promo for next week's episode below:

Jesse tries to be a "good preacher," unaware that a mysterious duo is after him. Meanwhile we meet the enigmatic Cowboy.

Preacher is the story of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), a conflicted preacher in a small Texas town who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that allows him to develop a highly unconventional power. Jesse embarks on a journey to, literally, find God, joined by his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun).
