We're well past the halfway point of Preacher season two and things are really starting to heat up for Jesse Custer and company. This Monday's installment seems to be a big one as Jesse finally makes a breakthrough while Tulip continues her downward spiral. Meanwhile, Cassidy makes a decision that may prove to be life-altering for Denis.

Jesse gets a breakthrough; Tulip continues to spiral; Cassidy makes a life-changing decision for Denis.

Preacher is the story of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), a conflicted preacher in a small Texas town who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that allows him to develop a highly unconventional power. Jesse embarks on a journey to, literally, find God, joined by his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun).

So far I'm enjoying Preacher. Definitely a lot of differences from the comic series, but I like that they are exploring some backstory to the characters.

Last episode was pretty boring. Not sure I care about Cassidy's son dilemma, but strong season thus far.
