While we await word on a potential season four renewal, next week's season finale promises to deliver the most game-changing episode in the entire show's history as Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German) hunt down Cain (Tom Welling) to the ends of the Earth for the murder of Charlotte Richards (Tricia Helfer).

As for that shocking death, it remains to be seen whether or not it will be permanent, especially considering Charlotte's year-long redemption arc, but based on Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) personally flying her back home to heaven, it looks like this may be the last we see of Team Deckerstar's trusty lawyer.

Entering its third season, the story of the original fallen angel continues. As Season Two came to a close, Lucifer took care of a little problem called Mom, aka Charlotte (Tricia Helfer). But now he’s facing an even greater challenge – finding out who kidnapped him, and why his angel wings are back. In addition, Tom Welling (Smallville) joins the cast as Marcus Pierce, an accomplished police lieutenant who is everything Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is not – strategic, reserved and well-respected. But perhaps even more annoying are all the things they have in common. Both men are charming, charismatic and handsome as hell. So when Pierce starts developing a connection with Decker (Lauren German), Lucifer's devilish traits are inflamed.

Hopefully he gets his devil face back and is exposed to Decker. I could see that being then ending of the season. He turns around she looks in horror as his realizes it's back.
