Titans executive producer Greg Walker previously stated that Anna Diop's Starfire would have a big role to play in season 3 and it seems things will kick off with a comic-accurate costume.

A brief teaser for Titans has surfaced online, confirming that just like the reveal of Jason Todd's Red Hood costume, the live-action DC TV show will soon be revealing a more comic accurate look for Anna Diop's Starfire.

In addition, Titans concept artist Gina DeDomenico and Specialty Costume Designer Laura Jean Shannon has also been teasing Starfire's reveal on social media, taking to Instagram to release "puzzle pieces" of Koriand'r's redesigned look.

As you can tell from the concept art teasers above, Starfire will definitely be sporting a look that's closer to what the Tamaranian princess wears in the comics.

Previously, Titans executive producer Greg Walker had this to say about Starfire's more prominent role this season.

"We’re planning a big season for Kory this year. The arrival of her sister/nemesis Blackfire launches Kory down a path where she uncovers both secrets about her past and clues to her destiny… all of which will lead to her true calling as Starfire. Plus, we have a few other surprises in store for hardcore Starfire fans this season.

Titans is currently without  a premiere date for season 3 as COVID-19 has delayed filming. It was originally slated to premiere during the 4Q 2020 before pandemic-related delays ensued. Production is currently scheduled to conclude in June 2021, making a 4Q 2021 HBO Max debut for Titans likely.

The third season is set to introduce Red Hood, Jonathan Crane, and Barbara Gordon.

They usually nail their costume designs even though Red Hood's helmet was kind of meh...
I wonder if Raven or Beast Boy are gonna get her costume down the line too?

@Himura - Also either need to ditch Ravager's mask (she looks fine without it) or give her a better one

@dracula - Agreed, it was fairly bad...It reminds me if one of those cheap toy aisle costume masks that just have an elastic strap...Very odd choice...

A little HBO money never hurt. Here’s hoping for more expansion within the Titansverse

@MuadDib - seems unlikely. A different Wonder Girl is going to CW, Hawk and Dove doesn't seem likely. the one spin off, Doom Patrol isn't even connected to the show it spun off from

The third piece was released and so far it’s looking fantastic. If the costume translates well from art to reality, it’ll be great. I also hope the flying and long fiery hair isn’t JUST in the concept art and is used in season 3

It looks pretty good actually. I don't get why they gotta tease it though lol. I like Anna Diop but this show needs to do better by her.

@Kumkani - Not just Her , but all the casting (still furious about my girl Donna)

@Kumkani - Really could have just done a Nightwing show, everyone else seem like supporting characters outside of the season they get the focus in (raven in season 1, ravager in season 2)

Cool.

Although really think the show would be better if they slowed down.

Season 1 i'd say had a better story, problem was the tone. They just had the 1 story.

In Season 2, either the Deathstroke story or the Cadmus story could have been a season on their own. Liked Deathstroke but wish he had more of a presence in the season.

This season we are getting Blackfire and Red Hood, once again, either of those could have been seasons on their own

Titans might not be the best DC TV series but the costumes are on point.
