Interesting episode tonight, really liked the central story around Akecheta. Next week's episode looks awesome, love that its going to center around the Man in Black!!

This show is good but suffers from the problem of being so deep up it's own ass in pretentiousness that it's almost a parody of itself at times.

I liked Akecheta's story and Zahn McClarnon is a great actor but the episode felt like a long winded way of telling us what we already assumed was happing. Since next week is man in black centered I hope they pick up the pace.

Spent an entire episode developing a new major character... and I LOVE the new character. For the most part they told a single nearly unbroken narrative and I was completely absorbed in the story. Different from the cross-section of character plots we have been getting. It was far less about confirming what we already knew or already assumed. It was about giving us a solid reason to be looking toward this essentially brand new character and seeing the story through his perspective, letting us understand his place in it.

Anyway, I guess they were being REALLY serious when they said season 1 was "The Maze" and Season 2 was "The Door". I didn't expect that interview to be a such an on the nose teaser for this season.

What an amazing episode. This show is killing it.

It was a really good episode, but like this whole season, it's plagued with some lazy ass writing.
I mean, just look at the way Akecheta was able to move around the lab, you remember in SW Ep 4 how the 2 droids managed to get away on Tatooine, and the imperial guards never bother to shoot them during the opening? Pretty much what happened here.
Now this shit is going to bite them in the ass, something that could've been avoided with one single gesture.

@Doomsday8888 - Westworld apparently is not above having the laziest security, lol.
