THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER's Rotten Tomatoes Score Has Been Revealed THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER's Rotten Tomatoes Score Has Been Revealed

That all-important Rotten Tomatoes score has been revealed for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but how does it fare compared to other Marvel Studios properties? Find out more details on that right here!

By JoshWilding - Mar 18, 2021 11:03 AM EST

There's a huge amount of excitement surrounding tomorrow's premiere of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and while fans will obviously tune in whatever happens, there are some who will be keeping a close eye on Rotten Tomatoes.

The review aggregator has proved crucial when it comes to people checking out a movie or tuning into a TV show, so how is the latest Marvel Studios series faring?

Well, with a total of 46 reviews counted (so far), the premiere has been declared "Fresh" at 96%.

While only one episode was provided to press, we do have a Critics Consensus for the premiere. "An ambitious blend of big screen action and intimate storytelling," it starts, "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's opening episode makes a strong case that smaller MCU moments can still pack a serious punch."

This is obviously very good news for Marvel Studios, but that score will continue to fluctuate over the coming days and weeks. Ultimately, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier won't receive a final rating until reviews for all six episodes (and those who chose to review the entire thing) are counted.

A couple of weeks after wrapping up, WandaVision has a healthy 91% total.

Will wait till the episodes are released.

Wandavision was good, wouldn't call it Marvel's best. Best ones Daredevil. Maybe on par with Agents Of Shield

@dracula - That’s actually a tough one.. Daredevil is the best Marvel series for season one alone, I wasn’t too big a fan of season two although the Kingpin and Punisher stuff was amazing in that season, season 3 was solid, didn’t love it as much as everyone else did though. Agents of SHIELD is a decent series for but not a great or even good one, just Ok. WandaVision was solid but ultimately a little disappointing. Punisher was disappointing, Jessica Jones was OK, Iron Fist awful first season decent, second season, same thing with Iron Fist poor first season, not bad second, Defenders major disappointment, Legion had one of the best first episodes in any superhero series, a shame the rest of the series couldn’t keep up. Agent Carter had a decent first season not great, but not a good second season and overall it was extremely disappointing..a lot of disappointments unfortunately (in my humble opinion ofcourse). I haven’t watched Runaways, Cloak and Dagger, Gifted or Helstrom yet

OT: Black Panther in Marvel's Avengers.

Looks like he's going to be fighting an army of.. wait for it.. AIM bots.

Also, no Spider-Man in 2021.

@RageDriver2401 - I respect that Square Enix is doing their best to revive the game but it is dead. Especially with the new level scaling making the grind even longer it will surely push new players away as well.

@SonOfAGif - by the looks of this roadmap majority of the year is going to be recycled content until Black Panther, which will also be reusing AIM bots as fodder.

I don't know if they lost their inflow of cash or something, but this is incredibly bare bones. The game didn't have much content to begin with.

@RageDriver2401 - this game grows more uninspired by the second.
This should have been a hero-shooter in the vein of Overwatch if they really wanted a live-service game.
But mixing a beat-em-up with live-service elements simply hurt the overall game it seems.

Haven't played it yet (as the PC version will always be inferior due to the lack of Spider-Man) and will only do so once the complete game is out for everyone to enjoy. Really dislike hiding content behind console exclusivity (I get that it's down to Sony not playing ball but screw Sony in particular anyways).

@RageDriver2401 - A shame they’ve butchered the whole thing for fans already. Luckily for me I’m only a gamer for storymodes, I don’t do online or anything else. And I thought Avengers was a pretty fun game, not overly long, fun missions as all the Avengers, good story, I’m definitely a supporter of it.

Rotten Tomatoes is awful for tv series, every time I check a series on there it’s high 80%/90% Agents of SHIELD is 95%, The Flash 89%, Supergirl 88%, Batwoman 84% in my humble opinion those shows shouldn’t be anywhere near those percentages.. also with this Falcon & Winter Soldier score it’s just for the first episode if I’m not wrong, should be for an entire season not episode by episode.

I like Rotten Tomatoes for films, for series? Nah.
