Best. Comic book show. Ever.

@TheRealTomServo - Jesus Christ that episode was bonkers.

@CaptainAmerica - I missed seeing Lenny do Lenny things. And seeing a goofball like Jemaine Clement give such a cold, clinical performance is refreshing. And as usual, the direction is gorgeous.

@TheRealTomServo - Jemaine is so [frick]ing good, i really hope we see him in the MCU soon. You're 100% right, seeing him go from goofy to being serious and threatening then back to goofy was awesome to see.

@TheRealTomServo - Nope. Only 6 comments. Nobody cares.

@Luminus - i’m sorry, but since when does popularity equal quality? the cw shows get the most attention on the site in terms of tv. and those are complete trite.

@TheRealTomServo - Who determines quality? You? Popularity (and by extension profit) is the ONLY way to judge entertainment value. Does it matter that I, personally, like Conan: the Destroyer or Jumper? Those are considered bad movies, simply because most people say so.

@Luminus - Wow, you’re an idiot.

Sorry, and I do hate to sound like some Manhattan hipster, but most pop culture prevalent in the mainstream leans into mediocrity or just plain bad territory.

Legion is definitely one of the better shows out in there. Very much like Twin Peaks or Xavier: Renegade Angel, it uses its oddball style to communicate intelligent observations (though the latter is more a satirical take on New Age philosophy in art) and create technically-masterful imagery (which the latter doesn’t do) that most shows wouldn’t dare attempt.

Legion is a masterful piece of television, featuring spellbinding direction, memorable performances, and an overall unique take on the comic book genre. Critics adore it, and the audiences that give it the time of day share the same consensus. Comic book fans, however, don’t seem too. And no offense, it’s because most of you find more comfort in the same, assembly-line trite on The CW and to a lesser extent, the MCU, which does offer some tonal variety post-Phase One.

And why am I not surprise you like two bad movies?

@Luminus - i mean, you kind of started an unnecessary argument when i came to a LEGION article to show my appreciation for LEGION. and you’re the one that came in witht the “ACKCHYUALLY” bullshit.
