LOKI Merchandise Seemingly Reveals The Hero's New Moniker In The Marvel Multiverse

And it was his nature AS a trickster god that allowed him to question his very nature. Why couldn’t he be destined to be happy? So yes, changing his fate in the comics, kid Loki, all the way to his agent of Asgard and god of stories arc was a truly GOOD character development arc for him. Otherwise, besides creating the Avengers he was becoming so one note and boring he himself would HATE how predictable he became.

No, it wasn't. He was a power-hungry dipshit who sought power and wanted to bring on the suffering to those he felt wronged him. His motive was not to try to prove his worth or be seen as equal. His point was the opposite: that he can outsmart and outpower everyone and impose suffering onto everyone.

Because he's a villain who murders innocents and seeks to rule over everything with an iron fist. He didn't deserve happiness. That's his contrast with a character like Thor. Thor is a man who endures great pain and still stays true to himself no matter what. Loki is a self-centered snake who bites the hand feeds it. They're Yin and Yang. That's called basic storytelling.

No, it wasn't. It was character assassination, character degradation, and, most of all, Agent of Asgard and God of Stories already had been using MCUfied Loki. So that's a shitty argument already if you're using MCUfied BS that retcons the original character? Like that shit about Loki being genderwhater and gay. That came after the MCU Loki became popular among the fangirl community, they started writing those terrible fanfics with Thor and Loki, and there was a demand for gay Loki in comics, and Marvel's editorial was stupid enough to do it, even though the previous comics absolutely dismiss that idea, as he was always portrayed as a hyper-masculien straight dude who only likes women and was in fact married to a woman named Sigyn whom he used just to have sex with her and gaslight her.

I don't know whether you're referring to the comics or the movies. If it's about the comics, then you clearly haven't read anything with Loki beyond the shit you mentioned, because him being the catalyst behind the creation of the Avengers is one of his least impressive feats. If you're talking about the movies, then also [frick]ing wrong, because had the MCU actually did the right thing and faithfully adapted the story of Ragnarok, and had Loki as the main villain who fulfils his destiny as the villain and brings on the end of the world, it would make him a far better character than him being reduced to a third wheel who acts like an SNL sketch.
