Last year, we learned Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s Dark Horse comic, The Umbrella Academy, was being adapted as a live-action series on Netflix. But while we’ve seen the cast grow since then, we haven’t been treated to an official look at the show.
However, with Comic-Con fever in full effect, Netflix has released the first image for the show’s principal cast which includes Tom Hopper as Luther, David Castaneda as Diego, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison, Ellen Page as Vanya, Robert Sheehan as Klaus, and Aidan Gallagher as Number Five.
The popular Dark Horse series is set in an alternate history where JFK was never assassinated and follows a dysfunctional family of superheroes as they struggle to solve their father’s murder.
Umbrella Academy will be written by Jeremy Slater (The Exorcist) and has Steve Blackman (Fargo, Altered Carbon) attached as showrunner.
