Lion King sounds like a bit of a fail quality wise, but everything about this looks good so far. Sounds like he's gonna be in the world of Star Wars streaming for the long-run.

@Bucht - To be fair, there's not a lot to direct with something like that. It sounds like a movie slavishly recreated by the VFX crew, unlike The Jungle Book where he had new material to play with & direct.

I get the feeling they’re going to hit a new franchise peak with this show. It really looks and sounds that good.

Just found out that Disney+ wont come to EU untill sometime in 2020 because of a stupid a$$ EU-rule that "a certain % of the content must be produced in EU" so Disney has to buy/produce a number of shows here (usualy pure garbage crap) before it can launch here. 😡😡😡😡

Give Favreau a trilogy. It won't be the best or the most sophisticated, but it'll be fun as hell.
