Sony releasing Venom 2 less than 2 years from the release of Venom - a movie that already seemed to have a fairly rushed production - is quite literally the most Sony thing about an entire sea of Sony-specific things

@OmegaDaGrodd - hey they could’ve shot for 2019...

And it begins....

On a side note, I saw Creed II. I know some critics have been down on it, but I really enjoyed it. Not quite as good as the first, but I thought it was close.

That said, make sure to watch Rocky IV first. The film doesn't have as much impact if you haven't.

@GoldGuy - really? That seems strange. Considering how goofy 4 was and how serious they seem to want to make creed, youd think they would design the movie so you get the full impact without rewatching 4.

@Origame - I mean, don't get me wrong, the film still plays just fine without IV, but there are a few scenes involving Rocky that just don't have the same weight unless you've experienced IV.

Like, I can picture some youngsters in the audience rolling their eyes at a few of the scenes involving Rocky if they don't have the full context.

There's one scene between Rocky and Drago, and it's excellent, but it's even that much better if you've seen their history first hand.
