Venom: Let There Be Carnage is definitely shaping up to be an interesting movie, and with Andy Serkis at the helm, it's likely going to be a very different experience to 2018's Venom. Well, mostly. The first trailer certainly felt pretty in line with what had come before, but the addition of Cletus Kasady? That's pretty exciting.
The teaser only featured a couple of shots of Carnage, and it was hard to say how closely the sequel is sticking to the comic books. Well, a newly shared "Selfie Lens" from Sony Pictures reveals perhaps our best look yet at this live-action take on the iconic Spider-Man villain.
The quality of the effects we see here obviously aren't on the same level as what will grace the big screen this September, but it does look like Venom: Let There Be Carnage has found a way to translate the villain's iconic appearance to a live-action setting. Hopefully, more will be revealed from the movie soon, but we'd be happier with a Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer before then!
