@BreakTheCode - Yup, I mean they may not do the white womans mind in the body of an Asian bit but ample times in the comics that wasn't so and ways to do it tastefully anyway IF they wanted. I mean she was a white woman in the body of a white woman for 13yrs before the looking Asian bit (initialy altered to look Asian not in the body of Kwannon).

As is the two were seperated again a while ago so Betsy is back being a white woman and Kwannon being an entirely seperate character in her own rights at the same time with Betsy taking the mantle of Cpt Briton and Kwannon that of Psylocke.

What I COULD see them doing is bringing in both together as a duo, maybe even as a couple with Kwannon going by the hero name Revanche (as that was the title during the period when they were merged). Could then do a short period where some event merges them in a film or show (or switches their minds instead) but seperated again by the end of it, easy. That or they simply make her half sister to Brian with an Asian mother would be fair enough for most I think even if not ideal for some.

Thunderbird is even easier to bring in, they'll just probably consult with actual Native Americans to fine tune his appearance etc to address any percieved issues with stereotypes and tropes. That won't auto mean he changes much at all but hard to call them out if on consultation with actual Apache's they get their nod of approval on his outfit etc.
