Gorgeous. As always. That Amalgam one is super cool.

I know a lot of people want a Marvel V DC movie but I really can't see it working in live action.

BUT an animated movie in the vein of the Spider-Verse movies? Where it's super creative and leans into the meta nature of that kind of crossover and plays with different art and animation styles? Something that's free to just go all kinds of crazy? That could be pretty sick.

That is honestly a solid idea. Maybe even a series.

@AC1 - an animated movie might work best now. Batman and Spider-Man teaming up would be great, but I also wanna see Batman Beyond and Spider-Man 2099 team up.

As for live-action though, we'll get that in the late 2030s for sure. The MCU and DCU have wrapped up Phase 9 and Chapter 3 by then probably, so they might look to new overarching narratives.

Or just because Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Namor and Human Torch are in the public domain. Happens already anyway. Might as well throw in Zorro and other pulp heroes in too.

@AC1 - I'd prefer a Marvel vs DC fighting video game over a movie, myself

I can't believe they never did a Batman/Wolverine team up book with Lee as artist. That'll sell for sure.

@Nomis929 - Naaah....
The best team-up/crossovers are the ones where the protagonists are diametric opposites.
Take Batman and Captain America;
There is The Batman; slipping trough the shadows, clad in black & gray....
A creature of the night!
There comes Captain America; bounding along in Red, White & Blue...
The neon sign of super-heroes!

Bring them together and make THEM work together; That is DRAMA !
