Ahead of the show's release on 4K Ultra HD SteelBook next week, a clip from Moon Knight's gag reel has found its way online featuring Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and more. Check it out after the jump...

Moon Knight was a tad muddled, though that felt somewhat appropriate for a series about an unhinged vigilante like Marc Spector. Despite its flaws, the six-episode TV show served as a solid introduction for the character, and a last-minute mid-credits scene featuring Jake Lockley only served to increase excitement for the character's future.

Now, with the series just one week away from arriving on SteelBook, we have a gag reel clip which shows Oscar Isaac punching himself in the face along with the usual bloopers and on-set flubs.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray will also include one featurette (titled "Egyptology"), two deleted scenes (revolving around Arthur Harrow and Layla), and the Assembled: The Making of Moon Knight special which first streamed on Disney+.

After the show's big cliffhanger, Marvel Studios has yet to reveal what this character's future will look like on screen. However, the hope among fans is that Moony will either return in a season 2 or big screen outing. Last year, Isaac claimed both options have been discussed.

"There have been some specific conversations. They were pleasant. The spilling of the details is that there are no details. We don't know [if there will be a second season], but we're talking about it," the actor revealed. "Truthfully, it's about the story. 'Is there a story worth telling? Is it interesting? Will I feel embarrassed about it when it comes out?'"

"So, it's just about, 'Is there something worth pouring everything you have into?' And with Moon Knight, that was very much about that. It's creating a structure so that every morning when the alarm went off, I couldn't wait to get to the set because I wanted to try something different."

"Whether [Isaac's Moon Knight returns] in a group thing or maybe a great idea comes around for a season two or if it's a standalone film or whatever it could be," Isaac continued. "I think it's just approaching it in that kind of way. It's the story first."

When Moon Knight was released, the show's lead repeatedly told journalists that he had only signed up for this one six-episode season. Clearly, Isaac is keen to reprise the role, and while he could easily play a supporting role in a future movie, common sense says the best next step would be a second batch of episodes.

For as bad as the finale was (and it really was), I can't pretend there weren't more things to love in this show than to whine about.

@DrReedRichards - I found the finale to be decent though definitely had my issues with it (moreso the resolution with Harrow then anything else)

I can’t deny being absolute elated by shit like this though…

@TheVisionary25 -

I agree that the choreography was well planned throughout, especially in the latter half of the show, but the constant tease of Jake only for the final conflict to be resolved Again off-screen was just... Ugh...

And I wasn't a fan of the Kaiju fight either, but that's more of a personal taste than a plot complaint

@DrReedRichards - I agree to an extent about the blackouts…

I didn’t mind the Kaiju fight but fair enough.

More power to you, mate. So long as people find something to enjoy in this underappreciated show, I'm game.

@DrReedRichards - as much as I did not like much of this show, the Episode 5 reveal, and interaction, of Spector’s relationship with his mother was some of the absolute best, and completely gut-wrenching TV that the MCU has produced.

Isaac completely bossed that sequence and ahowed a mastery sorely lacking in some of the other television offerings

@SauronthePower -

Episode 5 was f#ckin' phenomenal, Isaac acted the hell out of this one. I'll even go so far as to say that Episode 4 right before was also enjoyable for entirely different reasons, as a horror action homage with the Indiana Jones vibe, both with the exploration and with the VHS preparing for the twist.

@DrReedRichards - 90% of the Disney+ Marvel shows are all fantastic but with an awful and rushed final episode. Moon Knight is definitely the biggest example of that, yet on rewatches I love the show more an more. Such a great and unique addition to the MCU, I could live with not seeing the Jake Lockely fight if THEY GREEN LIT A SEASON 2 ALREADY.

Maybe one day we'll get a Moon Knight show that he's actually be in more that twelve minutes. They cheated us with this bullshit

Kinda forgot about Moon Knight already until now. Hope one of the first projects in Phase 7 is a Midnight Sons with Moon Knight, Blade, Ghost Rider, Black Knight, Doctor Strange, Werewolf and Man-Thing. Great characters that shouldn't be forgotten too long imo

I don’t get the hate that this show gets. Yes there could’ve been more of him suited up whether it was Moon Knight or Mr. Knight, but I thought this was a really good show. I cared about the characters and I really disliked Harrow, which is the goal of a good villain.

@LSHF - I didn’t have a lot of preconceived notions only having bought a few issues of moon Knight back in the 80s. I didn’t know about His dissociative identity disorder, but that was about it. I thought the performances were good and really enjoyed the contrast between Marc and Stephen.

I liked the show for what it was. It didn't go everywhere I wanted it to, and I wasn't over the moon about how they adapted Mr. Knight, but the show overall was more enjoyable than most of the post-Endgame stuff. There's a lot of potential for a season 2.
